Challenge

During a semester project at DHBW Mannheim, our team was tasked with developing a comprehensive media mockup for the fictitious brand "Case Zero".

The project aimed to design robust and elegant luggage, produced under fair conditions and incorporating advanced technology, all while showcasing the product’s German engineering excellence.

Solution

Our team collaborated extensively to deliver a wide range of outputs, covering all aspects of the brand’s digital presence and marketing strategy

Brand Development:

Logo and App Icon Design: We designed a sleek and recognizable logo and app icon to establish the brand’s identity.

Corporate Design: Created a cohesive corporate design that reflects the brand’s elegance and robustness.

Marketing and Communication:

Marketing Communication Material: Developed various materials to effectively communicate the brand’s value proposition.

Strategic Media Planning: Formulated a comprehensive media plan to ensure optimal brand visibility and engagement.

Digital Strategy and Implementation:

  • Information Architecture for Webpage: Structured the website to provide an intuitive and seamless user experience.
  • Keyword Analysis and SEO: Conducted thorough keyword analysis and developed SEO snippets to enhance online visibility.
  • SEO and Media Ads Planning: Crafted an effective strategy for SEO and media advertisements to drive traffic and conversions.

Design and Prototyping:

  • Web & Mobile Wireframes: Created detailed wireframes for both web and mobile platforms to guide the design process.
  • Web & Mobile Designs: Designed visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for the website and mobile application.
  • App/Shop Prototype: Developed a functional prototype for the app and online shop, showcasing the product features and shopping experience.

Feedback and Iteration:

  • Feedback Iterations: Incorporated feedback from peers and mentors to refine the designs and strategies continually.

Result

The project was a resounding success, achieving several key outcomes:

  • Strong Brand Identity: Established a distinct and memorable brand identity through cohesive design and strategic marketing.
  • Comprehensive Digital Presence: Developed a robust digital strategy, including an optimized website structure and effective SEO planning.
  • Engaging User Experience: Created detailed wireframes and designs that provide an engaging and seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms.
  • Functional Prototypes: Delivered functional prototypes for the app and online shop, demonstrating the practical application of the designs and strategies.

This semester project not only showcased our ability to create a comprehensive digital strategy and design for a fictitious brand but also highlighted our teamwork and strategic thinking.
